Food Intolerance Test
Food Intolerance Test is a comprehensive blood test that helps identify which foods your body does not tolerate. Unlike allergies, food intolerance usually develops silently, but over time it can cause various health issues – from skin problems to digestive disorders or lack of energy.
When should you take the test?
- If you often experience digestive issues, bloating, or discomfort.
- When you have unexplained skin conditions (acne, rashes, eczema).
- If you suffer from chronic fatigue, headaches, or low energy.
- When you suspect certain foods negatively affect your well-being.
How is the test performed?
A blood sample is taken and analysed in the laboratory to assess your body’s response to specific food groups. Based on the results, the doctor provides personalised dietary recommendations and, if necessary, creates a treatment or monitoring plan.
The food intolerance test is performed from a single blood sample. Results are delivered quickly – usually within just 1 hour. The test evaluates your body’s reaction to more than 50 different food groups, including:
- Nuts and legumes (cashews, almonds, peanuts, soy, peas, etc.)
- Grains (oats, wheat, rye, corn, rice, gluten)
- Meat (lamb, beef, pork, chicken)
- Fish and seafood (cod, tuna, salmon, shrimp, crab, etc.)
- Fruits (apples, strawberries, lemons, watermelon, currants, grapefruit, etc.)
- Vegetables (potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc.)
Other products (eggs, cow’s milk, ginger, mushrooms, tea, yeast)
Benefits
- Clarity about which foods may cause skin or health problems.
- Ability to personalise your diet based on your body’s needs.
- Improved well-being, more energy, and better skin condition.
- Prevention – reducing the risk of long-term chronic conditions.
